Osmar Simões began his career working in the Tax area, with experience in an international auditing and consulting firm. He later moved to the legal field and expanded his practice to the Corporate, M&A and Capital Markets areas.
Throughout his more than 30 years of professional experience, he has participated in several reference transactions in the national market, both involving M&A and corporate reorganizations and restructuring of debts and assets, always combining knowledge of corporate and tax practices.
Due to his accounting background and experience in auditing, Osmar frequently works in the coordination of more complex Due Diligence.
In addition, he acquired solid and practical business experience based on his work on the boards of directors of national and international companies, including Telesisa/Lucent Brasil, Procomp Indústria Eletrônica (currently Diebold Nixdorf) and Hospital e Maternidade São Luiz, as well as participation in advisory and fiscal councils.
Due to this multidisciplinary characteristic, Osmar is recognized by clients as a skilled negotiator and capable of dealing with and resolving issues involving different legal aspects.
