Bruno Furiati

Bruno Furiati, a lawyer in Brazil and New York, has worked in renowned law firms, both in Brazil and abroad. He began his career in 2003 in the areas of Banking Law, Financial and Capital Markets. He was a pioneer in advising on securitization operations, project finance and structured finance, involving Debentures, CRI, FIDCs, CCBs, FIPs, fiduciary and exotic guarantees.

In the academic field, he spoke in an original way about the “concept of true sale in Brazilian Law”. In 2006, due to his experience in corporate finance, he began to work in corporate law and in transactions of equity kickersleverage buy-out and M&A. In his second master's degree, he studied conflicts of interest in corporations.

He has worked on several cases involving integrity policies. He led one of the largest independent anti-corruption investigations in Brazil, within the scope of a leniency agreement, targeting the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office.

His systemic analysis and multidisciplinary vision are recognized by clients, who seek solutions for complex cases and the development of integrated strategies. He is currently the Legal Director of the Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo – FIESP. He has a distinguished performance in the telecommunications, chemical, education, energy, infrastructure, glass, construction and service industries.
